Most of our Lincolnshire work is whole-house replacement rather than one-off doors, which suits how the pricing works — the bulk of a fitting day's cost is the day itself, so doing every room at once is meaningfully cheaper per door than two rooms now and three later.

The county runs from Victorian terraces in Lincoln and Grimsby through interwar semis to a lot of newer estate housing around Scunthorpe and the market towns. Newer properties are usually standard metric sizes and fit without fuss. Older and rural properties — farmhouses, converted outbuildings, cottages — are where the ledged and braced barn doors and the period four-panel ranges tend to go.

Fire doors come up more often here than people expect. Any loft conversion, any three-storey house and any door between an integral garage and the house generally needs an FD30 door correctly hung. Tell us at the quote stage and we will price the whole assembly rather than just the door.
